Job Description:

As a compassionate, caring and influential team member, you will provide technical support to physicians during vascular diagnostic, operating room imaging procedures; utilize equipment and techniques specific to diagnostic and invasive radiography and cardiac imaging procedures; adjust and control complex imaging equipment in order to optimally image and present the area.

Position Requirements:

  • Successful graduation from a recognized school of diagnostic imaging
  • Successful completion of the registry exam
  • You must be a certified Medical Radiation Technologist licensed with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Member of or eligible to become a member of the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT)  
  • Posses at least 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • Prefer Angiography, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
  • Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork.
  • Poses excellent communication and time management skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a face paced Health care environment
  • Basic CPR certification and first Aid
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; sound clinical judgment, flexibility and initiative.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
